Video techniques
Audio wild tracking- also known as wild sound and wild lines, is an audio recording intended to be synchronized with film or video but recorded separately.
Birds eye view- a view from a high angle as if seen by a bird in flight
Dolly- is a specialized piece of filmmaking and television production equipment designed to create smooth camera movements (cinematic techniques). The camera is mounted to the dolly and the camera operator and focus puller or camera assistant usually ride on the dolly to operate the camera.
Ghost lighting- A ghost light is an electric light that is left energized on the stage of a theater when the theater is unoccupied and would otherwise be completely dark.
Jump cuts- is a cut in film editing in which two sequential shots of the same subject are taken from camera positions that vary only slightly. This type of edit gives the effect of jumping forwards in time.
Panning- refers to the rotation in a horizontal plane of a still camera or videocamera. Panning a camera results in a motion similar to that of someone shaking their head from side to side or of an aircraft moving into a different angle.
Reaction Shot- It is a shot which cuts away from the main scene in order to show the reaction of a character to it.
Tilt- Moving the cameras lens up or down while keeping its horizontal axis constant
Worm's eye view- a view as if by a worm from below or the underside

Types of shots
Extreme long shot- is a view from an even greater distance, in which people appear as small dots in the landscape if at all
Long shot- a view of a scene that is a shot from a considerable distance, so that people appear as indistinct shapes.
Extreme close up- The shot is so tight that only a detail of the subject, such as someone's eyes, can be seen.
Close up- very near and close to you
Medium close up- In between close and extreme close up
Medium shot- is a camera angle shot from a medium distance.
Long shot- a view of a scene that is a shot from a considerable distance, so that people appear as indistinct shapes.
